Individual Worth #1

Heavenly Father created me in his image. He knows me. He created this earth and all things in it for me to enjoy. To Heavenly Father my worth is great and valuable. I am precious to him. He knows me by name and is interested in my life. He will answer my prayers just like He did with Joseph Smith.

Individual worth #4

Even though I am already a wife and mother I still have goals for my future family. I hope to teach my children about christ and that they are a child of God I hope they gain their own testimonies I hope they are loving and kind. I need to be a good example in order for these things to happen. Someday I'd like to put my education to better use and teach kids and also contribute to our family income I want to serve a mission with matt I want to be a positive example in my community and with friends. Plan to see these things come about:  Have FHE regularly  Pray and read the scriptures with my kids and on my own take opportunities to teach children about the gospel Attend the temple often.  Go back to school at some point so I could teach grade school. Save money for a mission at some point.

Individual worth #5

I teach a pilates class and a high fitness class a few times a week. It was quite out of my comfort zone, especially high fitness as I choreograph some of the songs myself. I was really nervous to do it at first but now I love it. I used to prepare tons beforehand because I didn't want to make any mistakes but now I have gotten more confident and am much more relaxed doing it. I love exercising my body and challenging it and the sense of accomplishment when finishing. But also being able to recognize limits and that it's okay to not be able to do things perfectly.

Faith #4

Why do we partake of the bread and water? John 6:54 "Whoso earth my flesh and drinkers my blood hath eternal life." When we partake pf the sacrament we can be forgiven for our sings. We need to be clean to return to Heavenly Father and have eternal life with him. We promise to 1. Always remember him 2. Keep his commandments 3. Take his name upon us If we can do the frist two then the third should come naturally. Taking his name upon us makes us a representative of Christ, We need to be like Him and be a good example of Christ If we are always thinking of Christ then it should be easy to keep the commandments cause we know what he would do.I try to remember that I am a witness of Christ. When I partake of the sacrament and take his name upon me I am a representative of Him. I want people to be able to see his image in my countenance. If I always remember the Savior then it is easier to keep the commandments and if I am doing those things I am a better representative of...

Divine nature #1

Divine qualities of a daughter of God. - Worship God -Love and care for each other and their children - Love and serve one another - Observe commandments of God  - Nurture children - Keep the law of chastity - Have charity - Seek knowledge. - Virtueous, humble, submissive - Patient, long suffering, temperate, faithful, hopeful, abound in good works There are a lot of qualities to try and develop. A way to develop these is much easier said then done. We need to be like the savior. He embodies all these characteristics. We can become like him be doing what he has asked of us. We can read the scriptures, pray, attend church, and the temple. Doing these things will help us to have the spirit in our lives which will help us to become more like him.

Faith #7

Paying tithing has never been hard for me. It's something that was second nature. I remember one time I took money I had set aside for tithing to use to go to the movie or buy treats, When I took it the thought came to me that something bad was going to happen because I took money set aside for tithing. I don't remember exactly what happened but there was a negative consequence of some kind, like I lost $5 of that money or something. It has stuck with me though and reminds me to pay my tithing and never take from the Lord what I have set aside for him. Other blessings of paying tithing come in the form or clothes being given to us, things we need being on sale, or items lasting longer.  I know that the Lord blesses us in ways we don't even know when we pay a full tithe.

Faith # 2

What are qualities a woman needs in order to teach her children about faith? - Courage. Courage to stand up for beliefs. Courage to pray to find answers to questions. Courage to be okay not always receiving answers right away or the way expected. - Steadfast and immovable. Trials will come that will test your faith in God and this gospel. Be not moved. This could be seen in a mom who is firm when it comes to what she has asked of her kids. She doesn't sway with the world and it's trends. - Prayerful. We need to gain testimonies of gospel truths thru prayer, making it easier to base out decisions on gospel truths. How can these principles help you in your life today and help you prepare to be a faithful woman, wife, and mother. These traits don't happen over night. The sooner we start working on them the better our life will be and the better prepared we will be in our role as wife, mother, and a woman/leader in the church.
